Rusty has become a loner lately, avoiding Jafar and his kitten antics. Rusty has scabs all over him, mysteriously. He may have to go to the vet if it doesn't clear up. I hope his injuries weren't caused by Jafar! Jafar has scratched everyone else, so it's a possibility. Lately we've caught Rusty and Snoodly prowling around across the street, coyoteville forest! It's a risky game.
Rusty followed us on a walk all the way onto the logging road trail, but he made us turn back when he got hot and tired.
He looks like a lion when he pants.
Jafar and Snoodly are getting along well. They have become best friends.
Jafar has claimed this chair. In many ways. You know what I mean.
"It wasn't me! You can't prove it!"
Jafar is fond of bothering him.
Snoodly puts up with a lot of harassment. He's a good big brother.
Jafar is getting so big, he's about 6 months old now. Next week he's losing his manhood. (Poor Jafar!) Maybe after that we can let him hang out in the house more. He cries so sadly at the screen door for attention. His purring is abundant and ferocious when he finally gets picked up. He's still a baby, but some manly characteristics are emerging. He has conquered the grasshoppers. Soon he'll conquer the world. Or at least Rusty and Snoodly, whom he is quickly outgrowing.
